Welcome to Firechild Photography.
I believe that you should enjoy making your photos, and the way you’ll enjoy it the most is if you’re relaxed and trust your photographer.
Will you feel relaxed with me and trust me? Maybe, maybe not – that’s up to you to decide. We can always have a chat before any bookings are made, but hang onto to that thought for a minute.
Let’s start at the start.
There are three things you need to know if you want to be sure you’ve got the right photographer for you (and I’ve got the right people to work with!)
1 – You need to decide if my style is what you’re looking for.
2 – You probably have a budget, or at least a guideline and need to know money deets and 3 – You need to trust your photographer. Have I mentioned trust already? I can’t say it enough. You need to trust your photographer. That doesn’t mean you have to keep your mouth shut while the shoot is happening – it means you need to feel comfortable talking things out, trying things out and seeing what works, in a collaborative way. Or, just relax and leave me to it and see what happens.

#2 price
We both know that your wedding is not the average wedding, you wouldn’t be here if it was. But I will mention average prices, and the majority of couples tend to spend around €1850 on their day’s photography service. Images included, albums extra.
For more information on this, head over to my contact page and let me know what’s so special about you two.
Family photo shoots start at €250 session fee, which includes one 8×10″ print and a full web gallery. The session lasts between 90minutes and 2 hours at a location we’ll agree beforehand. For all the information on the session and some tips for making it work for you, sign up for the details and some solid tips here.
#3 TRUST
How the hell do you know if you can trust me?
Well, all I can say is that I’ve had plenty of incredibly happy couples and families in front of my lens >> you can read some of their reviews here and here (Facebook page). Then I tell you that look, I’m all about your experience, and making it the best you can imagine. Take your time to look around the site, read, look, get in touch.
I’m here to answer any questions in the mean time.

want to hire me for your wedding?
Things you should know now…
I will …
* Chat up your granny.
* Climb on chairs, walls, benches, (tables?!) – wherever I need to be to get the shot. Being 5′ 2″ used to be a problem for me, now I love that I can be a complete ninja during your drinks reception and on the dance floor – and I can climb really easily when I need that extra height!
* Probably throw some ridiculous shapes on the dancefloor before I leave.
* More than likely refer to all or any of you as rides on a regular basis, I’m just so in love with happy people, you have no idea.
* Insist on a group photo or two – but make sure they’re over with asap.
* Do my best to steal you away from your party for a little while. Why? So you can take a few minutes to breathe, look at each other, get giddy together and be quiet together. They’re the delicious photos!
* Get all misty-eyed at the speeches.
I won’t …
* Bully you or try to run your day.
* Make you, or keep you to, a timeline.
* Keep you away from your guests for hours.
* Let you go hungry, ever!
* Take endless family and group photos with all the possible permutations you can think of.
* Follow a template or shotlist.
* Tell everyone to say ‘cheeeese’.
* Discriminate. EVER.
I feel like this should just go without saying, but it’s nice to be clear. The most important characteristics to me of any couple I work with are to be in love and to have a sense of humour.
After that, nothing else matters.
